Privacy notice

Mizara helps companies hire. Candidates take a short job simulation: a typed call with a customer, and a written situation from the job, answered in their own words. Mizara is run by Ammar Kapasi in California. This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do.
If you are a candidate
We collect:
- your name and email address;
- your answers to any yes or no questions the company asks before you begin, such as whether you are authorized to work in the country or can be in their office. They are only about the job. The company sees each answer, and a no does not stop you taking part;
- what you type on the customer call, your note after it, and your reply;
- your written answers, and when you started and finished;
- whether text was pasted into an answer rather than typed, and how much. The company sees this beside the answer;
- how you reached the simulation, for example a job board link;
- your CV, only if you choose to attach one after you submit. You can replace or remove it while your link works, and removing it deletes it.
You do not make an account or a password. We do not store your internet address with your answers. To stop people flooding a job with fake applications, we keep a scrambled version of it for one day, and then delete it. Our hosting provider’s logs also record it for a short time, as part of running the website.
Who sees your answers and CV: the company that invited you, and the people at Mizara who run the service. Your CV is stored privately and can only be opened by someone signed in to that company. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How they are used: the company reads what you wrote to decide who to interview. An AI service (Anthropic) reads your answer to the written situation and suggests a rating for each thing the company judges it on, with the parts of your answer each rests on. A person at the company sees the suggestions, can change any of them, and makes the decision. The hiring decision is the company’s, so questions about it go to them.
The customer call: the customer is played by the same AI service, so what you type on the call is sent to it for it to answer. After the call it reads what was said, your note and your reply, and suggests a rating for each thing the company judges the call on, with the moments each rests on. A person at Mizara reads the first calls on each role and may change a suggestion, saying why. A person at the company sees the suggestions, can change any of them, and makes the decision.
Your CV, name, email and answers to the yes or no questions are not sent to any AI system. If you type your name on the call, it is sent with the rest of what you type.

If you use Mizara for your company
We collect:
- your name, work email, and phone number and job title if you give them;
- details about your company;
- what you share to set up a role: the recording and transcript of our consultation call, job descriptions, what you confirm or correct in our recap, and your comments on a simulation;
- if your team tried a simulation on a test link before 1 November 2026, what was typed in it. Test tries are marked as tests, kept apart from candidates, and removed by Mizara if you ask.
We ask before we record a call. We also read public information about your company, such as your website, to write a realistic simulation.
Your password is kept by our sign-in provider in scrambled form. We never see it.
We use this to set up your roles and write your simulations. We write the recap and the simulations with an AI service (Anthropic), so the consultation transcript and the role information you give us are sent to it for that. A person at Mizara checks every simulation, and your team reviews it before any candidate sees it. Everything in a simulation, including companies, people and documents, is made up, so none of your real business material is shown to candidates.
Services we use
- Supabase stores our data and handles signing in. Servers in the US.
- Vercel hosts the website. Servers in the US.
- Anthropic provides the AI that helps write recaps and simulations, that suggests ratings for candidates’ written answers and their call, and that plays the customer on the call. It receives role information, consultation transcripts, candidates’ answers, and what they type on a call. Never CVs, or candidates’ names or email addresses.
- Our video call service records and transcribes consultation calls, when you agree to the recording.
They handle information for us under their own privacy and security terms.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep company users signed in, and one that remembers a signed-in user’s time zone so dates show in their own time. Candidates get none. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser also remembers whether you have seen our guide to commenting on a simulation.
How long we keep it
We keep information while a company uses Mizara, so it can look back at its candidates. When a company stops using Mizara, or when anyone asks us to delete their information, we delete it, unless the law says we must keep it. If a candidate asks, we also tell the company it came from.
What you can ask us
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email akapasii786@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you live in California, you have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Only people who need to see information can see it: a company sees only its own roles and candidates. Candidate links are long random keys that cannot be guessed. No system is perfectly safe; if your information is ever exposed, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Mizara is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. For big changes, we tell company users directly.
