Privacy notice

Mizara helps companies hire. Candidates answer a short job simulation: realistic situations from the job, answered in their own words. Mizara is run by Ammar Kapasi in California. This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do.
If you are a candidate
We collect:
- your name and email address;
- your written answers, and when you started and finished;
- how you reached the simulation, for example a job board link.
You do not make an account or a password. We do not store your internet address with your answers. To stop people flooding a job with fake applications, we keep a scrambled version of it for one day, and then delete it. Our hosting provider’s logs also record it for a short time, as part of running the website.
Who sees your answers: the company that invited you, and the people at Mizara who run the service. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How they are used: the company reads what you wrote to decide who to interview. Nothing scores or ranks you automatically, and your answers are not sent to any AI system. The hiring decision is the company’s, so questions about it go to them.

If you use Mizara for your company
We collect:
- your name, work email, and phone number and job title if you give them;
- details about your company;
- what you share to set up a role: notes from our calls, job descriptions, your answers to our questions, and your comments on a simulation.
Your password is kept by our sign-in provider in scrambled form. We never see it.
We use this to set up your roles and write your simulations. An AI service (Anthropic) helps write the questions we ask you and the simulations, so the role information you give us is sent to it for that. A person at Mizara checks every simulation. Everything in a simulation, including companies, people and documents, is made up, so none of your real business material is shown to candidates.
Services we use
- Supabase stores our data and handles signing in. Servers in the US.
- Vercel hosts the website. Servers in the US.
- Anthropic provides the AI that helps write questions and simulations. It receives role information, never candidate answers.
They handle information for us under their own privacy and security terms.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep company users signed in. Candidates get none. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser also remembers whether you have seen our guide to commenting on a simulation.
How long we keep it
We keep information while a company uses Mizara, so it can look back at its candidates. When a company stops using Mizara, or when anyone asks us to delete their information, we delete it, unless the law says we must keep it. If a candidate asks, we also tell the company it came from.
What you can ask us
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email akapasii786@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you live in California, you have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Only people who need to see information can see it: a company sees only its own roles and candidates. Candidate links are long random keys that cannot be guessed. No system is perfectly safe; if your information is ever exposed, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Mizara is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. For big changes, we tell company users directly.
